The native land – tropical areas of America. In the nature there are about 10 kinds.

In the Summer the temperature should be usual, nearby 20-25°C.

Hypocyrta loves a bright diffused light, with shade from direct solar beams. In the winter illumination should be very good.

Watering must be plentiful in the summer, in the autumn watering must be reduce, and in the winter at the cool maintenance water occasionally, without supposing only full redrying of an earthen clod.

Regularly from April till August feed up with the solution of mineral fertilizers for blossoming indoor plants.

In the summer Hypocyrta requires very damp air, therefore air humidify with frequent spraying.

Breeds by stem shanks in the spring and in the summer.
